Fraud and Major Crimes Analyst The AP Major Crimes and Fraud Analyst is an Enterprise role supporting Shrink and Safety improvement through supporting the efforts to reduce Major Crimes, Organized Retail Crime, and Fraud. The Analyst is expected to coordinate with internal AP leaders, outside partners including law enforcement, and the Digital E-Commerce team to provide reporting and analysis to reduce loss. The Analyst will also build case files to support prosecution of major offenders. Principal Duties & Responsibilities: u2022 Conduct in-depth analysis using data collected & combined from multiple data sources to provide actionable recommendations for reducing fraud and evaluating criminal activity. u2022 Responsible for developing and delivering effective presentations and reporting solutions for AP, operational & E-commerce leaders. u2022 Responsible for identifying opportunities and coordinating projects across Asset Protection teams, vendors and merchants. u2022 Deliver reporting for weekly & monthly basis covering on-going performance. u2022 Support ad hoc data and analysis requests from leadership teams in AP/Ops/E-commerce departments. u2022 Regularly coordinate with field AP team to collect information, assess for inclusion in cases files, and support investigative actions. Major Tasks & Responsibilities u2022 Perform data gathering tasks and analytics u2022 Identify and communicate trends, synthesize findings and make recommendations to AP VPu2019s u2022 Utilize multiple systems to manage digital fraud transactions u2022 Produce weekly/monthly updates for use in capital planning u2022 Deliver presentations to teams and executive leaders and sponsors. Minimum Requirements: u2022 Bacheloru2019s Degree Required 3 years experience in an analytical role in asset protection, inventory control, or fraud. u2022 preferred u2022 Strong project management and technical skills (PMP, Excel & PowerPoint) u2022 Experience leveraging business intelligence/query tools (SQL, Microstrategy, Business Objects, APT) preferred u2022 Strong analytical problem solving, and leadership skills Dollar Tree and Family Dollar are Equal Opportunity employers.
