Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a General Manager located in Lyons, CO at St. Vrain Market, Deli & Bakery. The General Manager will be responsible for the following:

• Oversee daily store operations across the grocery and deli departments
• Lead, motivate, and manage a team of 15–20 employees
• Maintain exceptional customer service and a welcoming environment
• Ensure inventory is properly stocked and rotated
• Support vendor relationships and purchasing decisions
• Work closely with ownership on business strategy, processes, and goals
• Schedule and supervise staff, including hiring and training
• Monitor labor and waste to meet financial targets
• Ensure health, safety, and compliance standards are met
• Act as a visible leader, solving issues in real-time and setting the tone for the team

Qualifications

• Experience in grocery, food retail, or hospitality leadership roles
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to think strategically while being hands-on with day-to-day operations
• Comfort with point-of-sale systems, ordering platforms, and spreadsheets
• Organized, dependable, and passionate about food and people
• Experience with staff management and scheduling
• Must be able to work weekends and peak seasons
