We’re looking for a high-energy, results-driven General Manager to lead the Legacy Mechanical Services team in Kennesaw, GA . If you have a proven track record of growing revenue, leading teams, and driving operational excellence in the HVAC industry , this is your opportunity to build something great with the support of a national company.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead & Grow a High-Performance Team – Recruit, train, and develop top HVAC professionals, ensuring a culture of collaboration and excellence.
Drive Revenue & Profit Growth – Develop and execute business growth strategies , focusing on new sales, maintenance contract expansion, and service excellence .
Achieve Revenue & EBITDA Targets – Manage P&L responsibilities , financial budgets, and forecasts to ensure profitability and operational efficiency.
Optimize Daily Operations – Improve workflows, labor utilization, and job efficiency to maximize service quality and project execution.
Customer & Market Expansion – Build strong client relationships , grow preventative maintenance contracts , and ensure repeat business through high-value service delivery .
Estimation & Pricing Oversight – Review estimates, bids, and pricing strategies to ensure competitive and high-margin proposals .
Strategic Leadership – Develop succession plans and career paths for team members, fostering long-term stability and business continuity .
Qualifications & Experience:
5+ years of HVAC industry leadership experience (service, operations, or management).
Commercial HVAC technical expertise from experience as a technician (sheet metal, pipefitter, service tech), estimator, project manager, engineer, or service/operations manager .
Proven business growth experience , with P&L responsibility for at least 3+ years .
Strong leadership background , managing 4+ direct reports and developing high-performing teams.
Experience scaling service and maintenance contracts in the commercial and industrial HVAC sector.
Strategic thinker with a track record of driving operational efficiency, workforce development, and financial growth .
Contractor’s license preferred but not required.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications ; experience with trade ERP software is a plus.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer engagement skills .
Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with a drive for continuous improvement .
