About the Position:
We are seeking experienced and reliable Journeyman Marine Electricians to join our dynamic team working on shipboard electrical systems. If you have a strong background in marine electrical work and meet the qualifications, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities Include:
\tInstall, troubleshoot, and repair shipboard electrical systems (AC/DC)
\tRead and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical schematics
\tPerform cable pulls, terminations, and panel installations
\tEnsure compliance with NAVSEA, ABS, and USCG standards
\tWork independently or as part of a team in shipyard and onboard environments
Requirements:
\tMust be a U.S. Citizen (mandatory for government/military contracts)
\tValid Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent verifiable experience
\tMinimum 35 years of marine or shipyard electrical experience
\tAble to pass background check and drug screening
\tStrong knowledge of marine electrical codes and safety procedures
Preferred Qualifications:
\tExperience on naval vessels or government contracts
\tOSHA 10/30 certification
