Job Description How You’ll Make an Impact We’re looking for an outstanding Associate Director of Owned MarTech Strategy — someone who can join an established and high-profile client business and lead/support multiple projects in partnership with the VP of Strategic Owned MarTech. The Strategic MarTech capability covers areas such as unlocking new in-app features and connecting ordering channels like Digital Menu Boards & Kiosks. An experienced technology leader is essential to support these complex digital projects, which are defined, designed, and developed by Publicis. As the Associate Director of Owned MarTech Strategy, you will be a core team member supporting digital marketers on the QSR brand with integrated capabilities to accelerate personalization and omnichannel evolution. The focus will be on Owned channels (Push, Email, SMS, Digital Menu Boards, Kiosks), requiring deep cross-team collaboration (Strategy, Audience, Activation, etc.). Our embedded Strategic MarTech practice combines Paid and Owned expertise, aiming to realize a holistic marketing vision through use cases, capabilities, integrations, and processes. Our primary pillars include: Empowering business leads (internal & external) to understand capabilities and data, fostering innovative thinking and testing. Maximizing the value of QSR’s current MarTech investments. Collaborating & strategizing on MarTech roadmap for capabilities and connections to enhance business use cases. This role will be US-focused but will require understanding the brand’s Global Roadmap. Managing the data ripple effect through upstream and downstream platform connections. What You’ll Achieve Act as a strategic partner with primary platforms such as Braze, SessionM, mParticle, and others. Understand the broader QSR technology ecosystem to identify opportunities and challenges proactively. Lead capability prioritization and POV development. Collaborate with Publicis and McDonald’s stakeholders. Document capabilities, including contingency mapping, status, timing, effort, and impact. Identify and bring forward new opportunities for organic business use cases. Develop technical documentation and processes for custom solutions and new capabilities. Work with the Owned Strategic MarTech lead on AI capabilities and their opportunities for Owned applications. Maintain systems of record, requirements, and process documentation, centralizing critical information into a knowledge repository. Who You Are Undergraduate degree required. 5+ years of experience in Consulting (Strategy or Operations), Digital & Advanced Analytics, Marketing Technology, Owned Activation, or Product Management. Strong attention to detail, sense of urgency, and proven ability to prioritize, innovate, and build consensus. Entrepreneurial mindset with problem-solving skills. Ability to cultivate relationships with technology partners and clients. Excellent written and spoken communication skills. Experience working directly with mid or senior-level clients. Ability to translate requests into actionable deliverables. Deep knowledge of digital technologies such as CDP, CRM, systems integration, analytics, marketing automation, native apps. Knowledge of cross-channel execution (email, SMS, direct mail) and data security/compliance. Experience with email marketing platforms, automation, and niche solutions. Strong time management and organizational skills; experience working with remote teams. Flexibility to travel as needed. Preferred Qualifications Deep knowledge of Braze, mParticle, and/or SessionM is preferred. Salary Range : $86,400 - $129,600.
