As a Project Accountant, you will play a crucial role in preparing and analyzing financial data, ensuring the financial health of our projects. What you will be doing Prepare project journal entries and reconcile cost reports for one or more projects. Compile and analyze project pay forms to meet deadlines and ensure accuracy. Track insurance and bond information for all subcontractors. Assist in month-end closing, budget rearrangements, and revisions as directed by the project team. Set up cost codes and cost types for project needs. Support field personnel with timecard entry, certified payroll, and reporting as needed. Enter equipment time entries and reconcile equipment accruals for project needs. Support accounts payable and onsite invoice entry to track project expenses and payments. Work with project personnel to expedite payments and resolve issues. What we are looking for 2+ years of construction field accounting experience or training preferred. Bachelor's degree preferred. Strong organization and attention to detail required. Strong time management and self-prioritization skills required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to take personal ownership of tasks and communicate effectively, asking for help when needed.
