This contract position is located in Boston, MA, and is designed for the extended school year, running from July 7 to August 1. The focus will be on providing tailored educational experiences to a small caseload of students with diverse learning needs.

Location: Boston, MA (K-12 School)

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction in ELA, Writing, and Math according to the established schedule.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for each student, ensuring that instructional strategies meet their unique needs.
• Collaborate with fellow educators and support staff to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods as necessary to promote continued growth.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and IEP documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
• Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in a specialized setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and staff.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
