JOB TITLE: Systems Integrator COMPANY: Hoffman Building Technologies STATUS: Full Time, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime) Job Purpose: Commissioning and integrating DDC systems by following commissioning procedures and guidelines. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Organize commissioning projects by accepting projects from project management; analyze commissioning workload timelines; understand project requirements, sequence of operation, programming, and system type; collaborate with engineering and programming teams. Direct electrical subcontractors by prioritizing areas of completion, answering questions to ensure proper installation, and verifying installation quality. Complete commissioning projects by organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling start-up assignments; coordinate with programming for modifications; organize turnover to Project Manager for project close-out; follow up on work results. Communicate project information by updating Project Managers and Construction Coordinators on progress, deadlines, and schedule changes; log daily work in a project manual or work diary. Achieve financial objectives by reviewing monthly job labor cost reports with Ops management and initiating corrective actions as needed. Ensure system operability by assisting in on-site performance verification (“Big Picture Checkout”) with the HBT engineer. Maintain industry technical knowledge through workshops, publications, intranet, and reviewing product specifications; understand platforms like Field server and Tridium; proficient with BACnet, MODbus, LON, and troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark and Modscan. Maintain project documentation by updating wiring diagrams, commissioning sheets, and collaborating with team members to ensure documentation accuracy. Contribute to team efforts by leading by example, sharing knowledge, training new employees, and participating in meetings. No Phone Calls or Drop-Ins Please.
