Position Overview: We are seeking a design focused Architectural Technician to join our collaborative, women-owned architecture and interior design firm. This role is ideal for someone who is highly proficient in BIM content creation and management, works with a team player mentality, and has a passion for design excellence. This is not a “copy and paste” role; the candidate should have a knack for design and bring ideas to the table.

Key Responsibilities:

· Support project teams with drawing production, 3D modeling, and technical detailing across all project phases.

· Collaborate closely with architects and designers to develop detailed construction documents.

· Ensure all designs comply with legal standards and local planning regulations.

· Coordinate with consultants and contractors to ensure technical drawings are clear, complete, and aligned with project goals.

· Perform field verifications for electronic document creation.

· Create, manage, and maintain BIM content, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and project-specific customization.

· Contribute to ongoing improvements in BIM standards and workflows within the office.

Qualifications:

· Minimum of 4 years of experience in an architectural or design firm with an emphasis in lodging, mixed-use, and restaurant environments.

· Proficiency in BIM platforms (Revit and Enscape required)

· Strong understanding of construction documentation, detailing, and building systems.

· Ability to work effectively within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail with a design focused approach.

· Degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related field.

· Strong portfolio displaying a variety of detailed projects.

· Excellent communication and time management skills.

· Bonus Points For: experience with interior architecture projects, familiarity with other design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Adobe Creative Suite), interest in hospitality driven design practices.
