About the role:

The Manager of Apprenticeship Programs will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing apprenticeship programs that align with the company's strategic goals. This role involves collaborating with industry partners, educational institutions, and internal teams to ensure the successful development and execution of apprenticeship initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Program Development: Design and develop apprenticeship programs tailored to the needs of the nuclear industry, including curriculum development, on-the-job training, and mentorship components.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with industry partners, educational institutions, and government agencies to establish and maintain apprenticeship standards, funding and partnerships.
  • Recruitment and Selection: Oversee the recruitment and selection process for apprentices, ensuring a diverse and qualified pool of candidates.
  • Training and Development: Coordinate and monitor the training and development of apprentices, ensuring they receive comprehensive education and hands-on experience.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all apprenticeship programs comply with relevant regulations and standards. Prepare and submit necessary reports to regulatory bodies.
  • Performance Evaluation: Assess the performance of apprentices and provide feedback to support their growth and development.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the budget for apprenticeship programs, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Continuous Improvement: Implement continuous improvement processes to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of apprenticeship programs.

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing apprenticeship or training programs, preferably in the nuclear or energy sector.
  • Strong understanding of apprenticeship models and workforce development strategies.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to apprenticeship programs.

Estimated Starting Salary Range:

The estimated starting salary range for this role is $118,000 - $140,000 annually less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a semi-monthly basis. The actual salary offered may vary based on relevant factors as determined in the Company's discretion, which may include experience, qualifications, tenure, skill set, availability of qualified candidates, geographic location, certifications held, and other criteria deemed pertinent to the particular role.
